It’s 2.30pm when we arrive at Humble Rays, expecting the lunch rush to have subsided. Nope. There are still people waiting outside; a line out the door.
It’s like this often according to owner and chef Tinee Suntivatana. There is a row of chairs outside the cafe for those dedicated enough to wait – and there’s reason they’re willing to. Humble Rays is a jolly cafe serving innovative brunch dishes, drinks and desserts, livened with Asian flavours.
